On Easter weekend we took a trip out into the hill country to look at all the wild flowers, especially the Bluebonnets. Bluebonnets are the Texas state flower. I like to joke that they are a weed that could not be controlled so, they just decided to make them the state flower! If ya can't beat them...join them! LOL!
If you look closely, there is also a red flower in these pictures called Indian Paint Brush... I much prefer these flowers to the Bluebonnets. (I don't care if they are the state flower or not! Hahhaha)
