The storms eventually let up and we got to have some fun in the pool!
The sky looked really cool as the storms lightened.
We enjoyed our days at sea relaxing and getting some sun!

We spent the whole day in Chancaanab National Park. We had some time to kill so we did some snorkeling. There were jelly fish everywhere and we both had jellyfish stuck inside our swim suits. It was gross!
25 feet below the surface of the ocean we walked on the ocean floor. Our helmets were hooked to air tanks on the surface.
The dolphin discovery experience was awesome! We both had so much fun petting and swimming with the dolphins.
In the middle of the page, on the left, is a picture of Mark doing a toe push. He laid flat in the water and the dolphins came up behind him and pushed him into a standing position. On the right is a picture of me doing the dorsal fin pull. The dolphins swim on both sides and you grab the fins an dthey pull you around the water. It was so cool!
At the end of the day we met up with our friends, Terry & Patricia, and had a cocktail at Carlos & Charlies before getting back on the ship. Carlos & Charlies is located right at the end of the dock so we waited until the last minute to go back onboard!
In the Cayman Islands there is not a ship terminal so we had to get on the emergency boats and be tendered to shore. The picture above is of the emergency boat being lowered off the ship. In the second picture our ship is on the right.
Approximately 6 months before we were in Cayman they were hit by Hurricane Floyd. It was a category 4 hurricane and Cayman is completely flat. There was damage everywhere you looked.
Snorkeling at coral gardens we saw so many beautiful fish. We even saw a nurse shark but I was not quick enough with the camera to get a photo.
Many years ago the local fishermen stopped in the area this area to clean their daily catch and discarded their unwanted fish parts overboard. Over time this attracted hordes of stingrays to the area. The stingrays would gather awaiting their free meal. Over the years these stingrays became accustomed to the humans that fed them and eventually someone got into the water with them. From then on it became a popular tourist attraction to go out and feed the stingrays!
Stingray City was unlike any other place I've ever visited. It is located in Grand Cayman's North Sound not far from the barrier reef.
We did not scuba dive with the stingrays but we still enjoyed playing with them and holding them. One of the tour guides held up the stingray to show us it's mouth...it made a vacuum sound when it was out of the water.
Jamaica is blessed with water, including a number of cascading waterfalls that you can climb. The most famous is Dunn's River Falls, near Ocho Rios on the north coast. The Dunn's River falls are 600 feet long.
After we finished hiking the water falls we relaxed on the beach and enjoyed the scenery!
The last thing we did in Jamaica was participate in a booze cruise. Let me tell ya...that Jamaican rum is not to be taken lightly!!!
