Marie comes to Texas!

Marie happened to arrive in town on a "Girl Power" Thursday so she got to partake in happy hour. Luckily it was my turn so we got to stay home and enjoy the hot tub!

Friday we hung out in the pool during the day and then played games that night.

(Below) Olivia has no fear of the water! She jumps in without hesitation and without regard to anyone being there to catch her.

On Saturday night we got a babysitter and went out for the evening. We had a very good time!

By complete coinsidence our friend, Veronica, was in Austin for a wedding. On Sunday she came over with her son, Carson, and we had a get-together.

Deutschen Pfest

The petting zoo was a big hit with Olivia. She barely knew which way to go as she tried to pet all the animals!

The parade was hilarious! At first Olivia didn't quite understand the candy concept but, as you can see from the picture, she quickly understood!

There were only two rides that would allow kids Olivia's age, the slide and a little train.
