Fun Times

The trees in our front yard are finally big enough for a swing. Since this is all Olivia ever wants to do at the park, it makes it much more convenient to be able just walk out the front door and swing!

One Saturday morning I had to host a baby shower for a friend so Mark and Olivia went to the Hoppin Hippo. It's a playland that has inflatables, and indoor tree house, climbing jungle gym, stuffed animals... etc. Olivia loves this place as you can clearly see!

We enjoyed the pool the day before my c-section. It would be a long 6 weeks before I could get back in.... makes for a long Texas summer with no pool!

The weekend after my c-section it happend to be Deutchenfest in Pflugerville. Grandma, Grandpa & Daddy took Olivia over to have some fun.

Nothing better than cotton candy flavored ice cream from Maggie Moos. (It was sooooooo disgusting!)

Olivia decided to snuggle with me and bring along several of her stuffed friends.

Olivia and Mark went for a walk around the neighborhood and Olivia decided to bring me back flowers.

Olivia has started asking to have her picture taken all the time... with her stuffed animals, with her toys, sometimes she wants a picture of the toy alone. (I spared you all the pictures of the toys! LOL)

Park time is so fun now that Olivia enjoys the climbing equipment. She even tells me to stay away because she can do it by herself!

One day when Mark went to get Olivia up from her nap we discovered that prior to falling asleep she had piled the majority of her stuffed animals in her bed. She was asleep on top of them. Such a sneaky snake... we didn't even hear her through the monitor so she must have been in stealth mode!

Our future basketball star!

Spring Fun 2009

Olivia helped me make a cake for my friend's 40th birthday. She had so much fun.... especially licking the spatula at the end!

Our 2008 photo album arrived in the mail and Olivia and I sat and went through all the pages. It amazed me how much of the previous year she remembered. She would add details that were not in the pictures and talk about what she liked and did not like!

We filled Olivia's sandbox for the first time this spring and she was so funny. She kicked off her shoes and she wanted to sit in the sandbox!

Olivia was invited to a birthday party at Kiddie Acres. It's such an old park but it's great for kids her age. The rides are all miniature so the kids can ride them alone. She had so much fun!
