Our Trip to California: September 2007

In late September we traveled to California for my cousin, Tasha, and her fiance, Jim, 's wedding. The wedding was held in a remote canyon in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains on September 22nd. It was a cold day, but luckily the rain and clouds cleared away just long enough to get the ceremony and dinner in.....then it started to rain again:)

Pool Party: Labor Day Weekend: 2007

Labor Day weekend we had our friends over for a pool party and some grillin'.

After Olivia went to bed we had some time to hang out in the hot tub and play catch phrase. Below Mark & Brandy show how animated this game can get! LOL

Sitting around talking at the end of the evening before everyone called it a night and headed home.

Our Trip to the Ocean: September 2007

I got a little excited and posted these pictures out of order. Oops!

On September 8th we made a spur of the moment decision to drive down to Padre Island and spend the day enjoying the ocean. We had so much fun and Olivia loved the ocean water!

(Left) Olivia would stand and point at the waves and squeal and giggle!





(Below) We brought pails and shovels for Olivia to make sand castles but all she wanted to do was carry the shovels around and dig holes. It was so funny!


(Below) After showering off we went to the look out tower and took some pictures in front of the beach. It was a gorgeous day and we had a blast!
