Jonnie & Steve Visit Texas!

My aunt & uncle, Jonnie & Steve, came for a visit the 19th through 22nd. We had so much fun doing adventures around town that we had never done!

We went down & walked around the UT campus. Mark & I have never gone down there so it was new to all of us. We went in the multi-purpose gym and someone had left a basketball. We had a good time shooting some hoops!

The rodents... I mean squirrels were so tame they would take crackers right out of your hand!

These squirrels were albino.... red eyes and everything.

We went downtown and rode the Austin Ducks. They are basically a big bus/boat looking vehicle that drives on land and then takes you out to Lake Austin and drives right into the water. Olivia's favorite part was the water. She hung over the edge the whole time we were out there.

(Left) They gave us these duck calls in the shape of a duck bill. Everyone had fun "quacking" to the music and at innocent people we passed on the street!

No trip to Texas is complete with out a jaunt down to the Alamo and a Riverboat Tour on the River Walk.

(Left) Davy Crockett coon skin hat is a must!!!

(Below) Olivia on one of the cannons at the Alamo. Not sure if they appreciated us doing this but Olivia sure had fun! LOL

I took Steve to the new Harley Store in Round Rock. I don't know who had more fun....
Steve or Olivia???

Bluebonnet Festival: Burnet, TX

On April 12th we drove to Burnet, TX with our friend, Kelly, for the Bluebonnet Festival.

(Below) These Bluebonnets are obviously not real but it made for a fun family picture.

Of course we had to get pictures in the Bluebonnets at the "Bluebonnet Festival"!

It was a long day and Olivia was absolutely exhausted. She fell asleep before we were even out of town!

Spring has Sprung!!

Building blocks in the backyard. Olivia is getting very good at building tall towers!

Olivia loves her new play yard! We combined the Slide-n-Swing Castle with her baby pool and it was a huge hit! She played in the water and went down the slide for nearly two hours!

On March 26th my friends Kelly, Jackie, Jackie's daughter Elizabeth, Olivia and myself braved the 70 degree water for the first time in the pool!

Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles! Olivia went nuts chasing the bubbles and trying to catch them in her mouth!

(Below) Nothing like a good nap!

Our Boot Scootin' Ballerina!

(This is what happens when you let her dress herself! LOL)

SPRINKLER FUN IN THE FRONT YARD!
